Join Craig Bennett, Diabetes Victoria Chief Executive Officer, as he officially opens Diabetes Online Expo 2021.




Professor Brett Sutton has extensive experience and clinical expertise in public health and communicable diseases, gained through emergency medicine and field-based international work; including in Afghanistan and Timor-Leste.

Prof. Sutton will be discussing the topic; COVID-19 - where to from here? Including, the vaccination rollout and the importance of keeping up with your health appointments. 

Weight control recommendations have been a central part of diabetes self-management for decades but also a source of struggle for many people.  Health at Every Size and other weight-neutral lifestyle approaches have developed in response to this reality. With this presentation, you'll learn about the origin and outcomes of weight control recommendations for people with diabetes, the components of weight-neutral lifestyle approaches, their evidence base and how Health at Every Size has become a source of empowerment and hope for many.
